1. Segment Overview
Participants design a 4 wheel automobile model in digital medium (3D), fabricate a physical scale model and present the result at the Autofest exhibition floor.

2. Definitions
Entry
One team + one model + one submission package.
Digital Model
Native 3D file (CAD, polygon, surface models) plus neutral format export.
Model components must be watertight and 3D printable.
Both physical and digital models must be of the same scale.

Physical Model
Fabricated scale artifact presented on the exhibition floor.
Maximum dimensions: 500 × 500 × 500 mm.

Fabrication Process
Scaled model making techniques, additive manufacturing (3D printing) of any process family, or mixed methods.
See Section 7.
Submission Deadline
See Section 5.
3. Eligibility

Open to currently enrolled university students only (undergraduate or postgraduate).

Valid student ID required at registration and at check-in.

A participant may appear on one team only.

Cross-institution teams are permitted.

Organizers, judges, and their immediate relatives may not compete.
4. Scope & Entry Format
All entries compete in a single combined pool—there are no separate categories or award tracks.

An entry may be a concept vehicle prototype of 4 wheels.
Sub-system level implementations are not mandatory; participants are encouraged to focus on vehicle packaging and exterior.

Entries are judged according to the rubric described in Section 9.

6. Digital Model Rules

Any CAD package or 3D modeling software is permitted, including SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, Fusion 360, Blender, Onshape, FreeCAD, Alias, Rhino3D, etc.

Submit both:
Native project file
Neutral export (.STEP / .IGES / Parasolid / OBJ / STL)
Declare the software name and version inside readme.txt.

The model must be original work produced by participants.

Downloaded, purchased or AI-generated design geometry is prohibited as primary content.
Commercial assets (tires, lamps, etc.) must be declared.

Existing production vehicles may only be used as styling references.
Geometry must be modeled from scratch.

Reference vehicles, if any, must be listed in the Design Report.

Modeling history / Feature Tree must remain intact where applicable.

A screen recording or screenshot process log must be available if requested during dispute resolution.

7. Physical Model Rules

Fabrication by 3D printing is preferred.
Hybrid methods are also permitted.

A pedestal is required if the model exceeds 5 kg.

Battery-powered models are limited to 12V DC or below.

Judging consists of two rounds:

10. Penalties & Disqualification
Late Digital Submission
5% deduction every 3 hours
Maximum delay allowed: 24 hours

Missing Design Report results in a 20% deduction
Oversized or Unsafe Model
Excluded from the exhibition floor.
Undeclared Third-Party Geometry

12. Intellectual Property & Media
IP-1
Teams retain full ownership of their designs.
IP-2
EELEVEN and sponsors receive a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to photograph, display and publish entries for promotional purposes.
IP-3
Submitted files will not be redistributed as printable assets without written permission.
IP-4
Promotional use outside Bangladesh Autofest by sponsors requires separate participant consent.
13. Code of Conduct
Respectful behavior toward participants, volunteers, judges and visitors is mandatory.
Damage to venue property is the responsibility of the team.
Models must remain attended or properly secured during exhibition hours.
Organizers are not liable for loss or damage.
14. Appeals
Scoring judgments and final results are not appealable.
Only procedural errors (such as missing deliverables) may be appealed before judging closes.
